Hidden among rolling hills and vineyards, within the refined setting of the Resort, ISSA Equines is a discreet world shaped by movement and grace, home to nearly 50 horses and ponies, trained with care and sensitivity. Indoors, the arena hosts grand performances. Outside, hooves follow the natural lines of the land. Children learn. Riders grow. Visitors discover carriage rides, care rituals, and the art of connection between horse and human.

Equestrian Show

Every weekend, the equestrian performance created in the heart of Transylvania, at ISSA Resort, unfolds as a rare expression of elegance and strength, open to the public. Liberty dressage with six horses, the raw energy of the Mustang, the refined suppleness of the Arabian horse, and a precisely composed choreography come together in a performance that goes beyond technique. Each movement is felt, lived — a reflection of the profound connection between horse and rider. A spectacle that invites you to return.

Vineyard Horseback Rides

From the quiet comfort of a carriage, the estate reveals itself differently. Drawn by ISSA’s Friesian horses — deep-toned, noble in their calm strength — and shaped by refined, aristocratic details, each ride becomes an experience in itself. Light over the hills, a subtle breeze, the sound of leaves — all recall the quiet elegance of another time.

ISSA Resort is an amazing hotel located right next to the renowned Salina Turda salt mine. It is a very modern hotel with great attention to detail. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. Everyone will find something for themselves here, especially horseback riding enthusiasts. Inside the hotel, a large arena is built, where incredible horse shows are held, accompanied by beautiful music and lights. There is also a large outdoor pool and numerous paddle tennis courts there.
