ISSA Resort welcomes guests traveling with service or assistance dogs, as well as pets, under clearly defined conditions designed to ensure comfort and safety for all guests.

ISSA Resort is a five-star property that includes a premium equestrian centre. When planning a stay accompanied by pets, guests are kindly asked to note that horses are present throughout all outdoor areas of the resort at all times.

For safety reasons, pets must be kept at a safe distance from the horses and are not permitted to approach the riding arena, stables, or training areas. Horses are generally gentle, but may exhibit unpredictable or uncontrolled behaviour if they feel threatened in any way—whether through noise (such as barking), sudden movements, or attempted biting.

The responsibility for maintaining an appropriate distance and ensuring suitable behaviour of any accompanying pet rests entirely with the owner. The safety of our guests, staff, and animals remains our highest priority.

The resort offers four specially designated accommodation units, prioritised for guests accompanied by pets or service dogs. Allocation is subject to availability and requires the presentation of official documentation confirming the dog’s status.

Access with pets, terms and conditions

• Reservations including pets must be requested and confirmed in advance, by phone, directly with the reception. Accommodation of pets may not be possible during certain periods.
• A fee of EUR 40 (VAT included) / day applies per pet.
• Pets (excluding assistance dogs) are accepted up to a maximum weight of 15 kg.
• A maximum of two pets per accommodation unit is permitted.
• In the rooms, we provide containers for water and food, as well as sanitary bags.
• Presentation of the vaccination record / health certificate may be required. An additional pet policy agreement must be signed at check-in.

Pet-restricted areas. For the comfort and safety of all guests

• Pets do not have access in the Nidus Restaurant, SPA, Pub, Stables, pool area and children’s areas.
• In all permitted public areas, dogs must be kept on a leash and under constant supervision.
• Pets may not be left unattended in the rooms. Daily housekeeping cannot be guaranteed while pets are present in the room, for safety and hygiene reasons.

Pet owner responsibilities

• Housekeeping during the stay is only performed when the pets are not present in the room, for the safety of the staff.
• Owners are fully responsible for any damage caused by the pets.
• Owners must collect the waste of the pets, ensure their quiet and appropriate behavior during the stay.

The horse shows take place in the indoor arena every weekend, according to the following schedule:

Our horses are cared for to the highest standards, enjoying constant attention and excellent living conditions. Each horse has its own stall, either within the stables integrated into the hotel or in the resort’s dedicated stables.

ISSA SPA offers a curated selection of facial and body therapies, designed to engage the senses and restore balance through touch, rhythm, and carefully chosen techniques.

ISSA SPA features both a private single-treatment room and a dedicated couples’ therapy suite. The SPA is open exclusively to accommodated guests, by appointment, daily from 09:00 to 21:00, offering a calm, uninterrupted setting for a deeply sensorial experience.

ISSA SPA is conceived as an intimate retreat and it is open daily from 09:00 to 21:00, offering access to the following facilities: a heated indoor–outdoor pool, a dry sauna with panoramic outdoor views, a wet sauna, sensorial showers, a Scottish shower, and a dedicated relaxation area.

SPA access is available at a rate of RON 100 (VAT included) / 2-hour session/person, as per the following schedule: 09:00 – 11:00 – 13:00 – 15:00 – 17:00 – 19:00 – 21:00. For your comfort and space, seats are limited.

A maximum of two SPA sessions per day can be scheduled, subject to availability. These sessions are available for scheduling between 09:00 and 21:00 hrs. and are kindly arranged in advance through our hotel Reception team.

Guests are invited to enter the locker rooms 15 minutes prior to their reservation.

Access for children under the age of 12 is permitted only when accompanied by an adult and exclusively during the following time slots: 09:00–11:00 and 11:00–13:00.

Minors may use the SPA facilities solely in the presence of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for compliance with the resort’s regulations.

Access to the outdoor pool and spa is only available for non-resident guests from Monday to Thursday, 9:00–19:00 subject to a prior booking confirmed with our reception team.

Children under 12 can access the SPA area between 09:00 – 11:00 and 11:00 - 13:00, only if accompanied by adults.

From Friday to Sunday, the SPA area and the outdoor pool are exclusively reserved for the hotel guests.
