Each trail can be explored at your own pace, while the scenery changes with every season.

Vineyard Trail

The trail connects ISSA Resort, ISSA Village, and the vineyards of the ISSA Estate, offering some of the most beautiful views of the vineyards and hills of Transylvania. It is the ideal choice for those who want to discover the estate at a relaxed pace.

It crosses the forest and the Durgău Hills to the Salt Baths and Lake Tarzan, one of the most spectacular natural landscapes near the ISSA Estate.

A shorter but spectacular trail that climbs the hills surrounding the resort, offering views of the vineyards and the entire ISSA Estate. It is the preferred trail for horseback rides.

The trails are indicative and are not marked.
The trails are undertaken entirely at your own risk, regardless of the mode of travel.
Before setting off on the trails, we recommend assessing the level of difficulty and making sure you have the necessary physical fitness.
For horseback trail rides, please contact the reception team to make a reservation. Our colleagues will provide you with the rates and availability, while instructors from our equestrian team will accompany you along the trail.
ISSA Resort cannot be held liable for accidents, falls, slips, impacts, injuries, or any other incidents occurring on the trails.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

As with any hike or walk in nature, there are risks associated with the trails, which participants undertake entirely at their own responsibility.
Participants assume all risks inherent to activities carried out in nature, including, but not limited to:
Uneven terrain;
Slippery surfaces;
Changing weather conditions;
Insects, ticks, or other wild animals;
Stray dogs or domestic animals encountered along the trail;
Interactions with other people;
Damage to personal equipment;
Loss of orientation.

NOT PERMITTED

Entering private property is prohibited.
Participants are responsible for complying with traffic laws whenever the trails intersect public roads.
Minors may use the trails only under adult supervision.
For equestrian trails, participants must follow the ISSA guide's instructions at all times.

ISSA Resort is an amazing hotel located right next to the renowned Salina Turda salt mine. It is a very modern hotel with great attention to detail. Inside the hotel, a large arena is built, where incredible horse shows are held, accompanied by beautiful music and lights. There is also a large outdoor pool and numerous paddle tennis courts there.
