The Night Shift Chef is responsible for overseeing and executing all kitchen operations during the overnight period, including late-night dining, room service, and preparation for the following day's service. This role requires the ability to work independently, maintain consistent quality and food safety standards with minimal supervision, and ensure a smooth handover between night and day kitchen teams.
Responsabilities
Night Kitchen Operations
● Take full responsibility for kitchen operations during the night shift;
● Prepare and cook menu items for late-night dining, room service, and any overnight guest requests;
● Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to ISSA Resort's recipes and quality standards;
● Respond promptly and professionally to last-minute or special guest requests during the night;
Quality, Safety & Compliance
● Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards throughout the shift;
● Monitor storage temperatures and proper labeling of all food items;
● Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and report any malfunctions immediately;

Team Management & Training
● Supervise and support any night-shift kitchen or stewarding staff assigned;;
● Coordinate with front office, room service, and security teams regarding night operations;
● Communicate proactively with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef regarding any operational issues;
QUALIFICATIONS
● Minimum 2–3 years of culinary experience, preferably including night shift or independent kitchen
responsibility;
● Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
● Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional training is required.
● Solid knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards;
● Experience in a hotel, resort, or high-volume kitchen environment is a strong advantage;
